A colorful San Diego Wedding | Coronado Photos

This fun couple got married on the beach in Coronado surrounded by their sweet families and perfect light.  They had two of the best wedding planners ever, and it made a huge difference. Karen and Grace from K&G Events made the day run so smoothly, and made my job SO easy! =) The wedding details were so well thought out, and the food was DELISH...did I mention the Rubik's cube cake!? Karen and Briccio...you guys exude awesomeness, congrats! Enjoy these beautiful people!

Lovebirds in Presidio Park, Engagement Photos

I get to document Olga and Leonardo's wedding next month, and I am very much looking forward to it. For their engagement photos we played around Presidio Park, and had a walk around Old Town after the Cinco De Mayo celebration participants stumbled away. We received some amazing light after a few days of waiting out some chilly (for San Diego) weather, but it was so worth it. Enjoy this sweet couple! =)

Bad Religion and Rise Against sell out San Diego | Photos for NBC's music blog!

I got the exciting opportunity to take photos for NBC's music blog Sound Diego, of Rise Against, Bad Religion, and Four Year Strong at the Rimac Arena @ UCSD. The sold out show was packed and sweaty with crowd surfers everywhere and hundreds of fans singing at the top of their lungs. The lighting crew deserves a big giant hug/raise for creating such dynamic and beautiful light! I was SO happy to be shooting in such conditions=) See the full gallery on NBC San Diego here!

Bad Religion put on such a good show! They had such genuine smiles the entire time they were playing...I really enjoyed them!

Photo Nerd Post: Canon 24mm Tilt Shift | The Sprouting Image

I have had a few photo friends ask to post some images with the lens info included, so here ya go!If you don't care about lenses, I still like you and here is a photo for your eyes to enjoy anyway! =) This shot was taken with the Canon 24mm TS-E  3.5L at an engagement shoot in San Diego.  I enjoy this lens a lot, but it's not very practical for shooting in a fast paced environment, as it's truly meant for architecture and landscape photography. The next photo nerd post is  about the 35mm 1.4, so don't worry about getting your fast lens fix!  Check out the 24mm tilt-shift on B&H here, and if you are in San Diego rent it or buy it at George's Camera, and tell Suzane I sent you!

This is by far one of my favorite couples ever!!  Sara and Jay are sarcastic and witty, and they love Italian food and kitties as much as I do. We took photos in North Park  for an upcoming (top secret) video project and these are some of my favorites! Enjoy=)

Wedding at The Prado

Danielle and Craig (the talented record spinning DJ Gonzo) got married at The Prado at Balboa Park. The day was full of vinyl, cocktails, amazing food from Chef Jonathon Hale, and lots of happy celebrating friends. Enjoy this sweet couple and congrats to the Gonzo's!
